Golf Club
lazysellers asked:

I just took one lesson at the driving range, and the instructor was nice enough to give me a used golf club. Even though, it allows me to practice after my lesson, it is old and worn out, and may even affecting my performance. How am I to pick out a driver that is “right” for me?

After hitting from the rough a few times I noticed that on the bottom of a couple of my golf clubs the paint filling was partially scratched off and I can’t seem to find a place that sells the “paint”. I’m sure I can go into any repair shop and have it done, but it doesnt seem like a hard thing to do as long as I have the paint. Anyone know where they’d sell it either retail or online? I’m located in the Bay Area.

What is a good estimate for the spring constant of the golf ball (assuming that it behaves like a Hooke’s Law spring under compression)?

This is to all golfers (male/female) What is the best way to improve your golf game. To play at one golf course until you become good at it or play different golf course each time you play?

Okay its always been my dream to build my own golf resort. I’ve got 500,000. How do I build my resort starting with that. I know that the golf course will cost 2 mil +, but I don’t have that kind of money. And please don’t tell me I need to win the lottery. That would be nice though.

What state do you think is not known well enough for its golf area? I think Minnesota. I mean Deacons Lodge, Superior National Golf Course, Maddens Golf Resort. There all absolutely breathtaking and beautiful but no one really ever talks about them with the other big name courses in the US. What do you think?
