What is the best way to package a golf club?

Golf club
Chris McQueen asked:

I am looking to sell my golf clubs on ebay. How do others package their clubs for posting ? I have seen some people sending clubs in large tubes – where on earth would I get my hands on some large tubes ??
I am looking to send individual clubs and also need a solution to packaging a set of irons.

Thanks for your thoughts

Go to a local UPS Store or FedEx Kinkos and take your clubs. They have lots of different boxes, tubes, and packages there and will be able to help you fing the right one at the right price to ship the clubs. Not all boxes or tubes meet the grade to allow heavier items to be shipped.

I have received clubs in the mail/UPS. They come in a rectangular box that has slots to hold the clubs in place. The heads are covered in bubble wrap.

I would find a way to keep the clubs together so that they don’t move around individually, causing damage to the other clubs. It shouldn’t be too difficult to manage.

Of course there is always the UPS Store, but that will add to your cost of shipping.
