CollegeBoy00 asked:
simply, when on the golf course do you use which club. like when you take the first swing which club do you use, then the next swing which club do you use etc. if possible can you go through all the clubs, or as many aspossible.

Clubs are numbered according to the average distance they will hit the ball. Woods are for longer shots…irons for shorter…lower numbers hit farther than higher numbers. The angle of the club also determines the number as well…a 9 iron is more open than a 7 therefore it hits a higher arcing shot.
Take your clubs to the driving range. Hit them all a few times. This way you get a feel for how far you can hit each club. On the course, you can always tell how far you are from the hole, usually by red, white and blue markers. Red is 100 yds out, White is 150 yds out,a nd Blue is 200 yds out. Use the club you think appropriate for the length.

1 Wood (drive) – 180 Yards
2 Wood –170 Yards
5 Wood –160 Yards
4 Iron –150 Yards
5 Iron –140 Yards
6 Iron –130 Yards
7 Iron – 120 yards
8 Iron – 110 yards
9 Iron – 100 yards
Pitching Wedge –90 yards
When I start golf the first time I used only five iron and putter for every shots. After a few round when this question gone, I then know which one to use and when to use.
