I actually downloaded a program for golfers last year that might help. Send me your confidential email address and I’ll email it to you since you can’t get it directly off a website (I accept emails). It was developed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Pick me if you like it.

But if you don’t want to email me, you can click this link to download a free report. It’s got some good exercises but the one I’d email to you is much better and also discusses mental preparation and stretching exercises.

Overall strength training, for core work get a french ball and get one of the many books on exercising with a ball…very good core workouts. you also need overall training too, especially legs…good luck

Running three miles, eat proper foods, do a little weight training, hitting 400 balls in the range a day and you’ll be OK.

For a stronger swing, best things to do are:

* crunches for your abs
* reverses crunches for your lower back
* squats, reverse squats, and calf lifts for your legs
* those gripper things to build your wrists/forearms

It may not seem it, but having a strong abdomen, back, legs, and wrists help tremendously in strengthening your swing. You’ll actually feel as you’re swinging easy but will get much more yardage than if you were to concentrate on strengthening your arms.
