So there’s chrome, black nickel, and oil can. Is there really a difference between the three finishes? Also, I’ve met some players that prefer when their chrome wedges build rust all over the club head…Why is that?

I’m not talking about “PGA Tour pros”. I’m talking about club pros, assistant pros, teaching pros, etc.

I know Titleist has a general policy and it’s substantial, but I don’t know how generous it is. Do they pay cost? Even less?

Mizuno irons are often praised as being the nicest in many ways. Definitely comparable to Titleist products and sometimes deemed better. Why don’t more professionals play mizuno whereas many slightly above average golfers tend to like them? Is it because they are made in Japan or is it because they lack something critical that pros demand?

The club is the Titleist Vokey design Spin Milled wedge. And I’m talking about the smaller grooves in between the bigger ones.

I rented some Titleist clubs and hit a 983 pretty well. I’d like to buy one, but ebay offers so many different models. If I can’t find a 983 standard flex, 10.5 degree, are any of these other models comparable?

Tiger Woods
StephenWeinstein asked:

In a radio commercial for laser vision surgery, Tiger Woods says that he had to wear contacts to play golf, that the contacts made his eyes water or red or something, that this distracting him from the shot that he was trying to make, and that only surgery would allow him to play golf without the distraction of contacts.

Why would eyeglasses not also be a (faster) option for him?
